For those who like restaurant history, Jan Whittaker’s victualling.wordpress.com is a great slice of culinary history. Great pictures, good articles, some good research. Looking for answers to the time-honored questions, try it. Where was the Cheeseburger invented and by whom? What of the coffeehouse phenomena? The relationship of credit cards (specifically the Diner’s Club card) to IRS regulations on business expenses in the 1950’s and 60’s? All discussed. And the images are period.
